Eichmann binding post caps broke again/ Suggestions on something better
I personally wouldn't spend a lot of binding posts.  Would they make that much difference in sound?

I've created a thread on DIYaudio website.  It's basically the same but it has a few extra stuffs.   https://www.diyaudio.com/forums/multi-way/345669-exercise-converting-speaker-time-phase-coherent.html#post5984990

Have you heard Ryan Speakers based in Riverside CA? Try to catch an audition and post your impressions here. Similar to a Thiel without being a pure first order filter design. Thanks for the heads up.  But if they are too high-end, I won't be...

On an aside note, this is why only first order is possible.  A high order filter even with all positive polarity won't be able to produce a proper step response. https://www.flickr.com/photos/185616271@N05/49107462151/in/album-72157711891600612/ ...

Anyway, on a side note that maybe related.  McLaren supercars and Ferrari supercars tend to have similar MSRP.  But a used Ferrari will tend to keep its values very well and in some cases, rises in values.  On the other hand, McLaren cars do not k...

That must be some old saying. These days, $ 7 000 000 probably does not warrant its own. That's true.  The amount of money on wall streets nowaday is just unreal.  It's hard to imagine how the FED and wall streets together can play this game .....
Do speaker cables need a burn in period?
I think we are adults here ... It's no joke since some are actually in high places and in real life.  Not just online forums.  Now, that's scary, not funny.

It all boils down to what my very wise father (RIP) once told me...he said son do not ever forget “there is an a-- for every seat.” Case closed. Every seat needs an a-- otherwise the theater would be empty.  Where I came from, that's how people...

The Infinite Slope speakers are very good. His approach sequesters the phase misbehaviors to very narrow bands, so they are noticed very little, and the time misbehaviors are managed for least damage Richard Modafferi, Infinite Slope designer, ...

Did Aston Martin make James Bonds or vice versa? Is it the chicken or the egg?  If James Bonds is a real person, then maybe the answer is a bit more obvious.
