Need speaker suggestions for my evolving system!
Imaging and soundstage is really good on the entire Kef R series. I find they lack bass. A good sub or two is almost required.
Recommended streamers/servers?
Watching this thread with great interest. I like @larry5729 have done away with the external DAC (Mytek Liberty) and am just usning the DAC inside the Node 2. Puts out great bass and I find that the digital "glare" is reduced. Now I'm considering ...
3way replacement for my 2way
I agree with knottscott. I have since upgraded to Treo CT's but when I listen to my vandy 1's I cannot tell I am listening to a 2-way speaker. It just sounds coherent and full top to bottom.
What's been your turntable ownership over the years?
2019 - TEAC TN400S (1st turntable as an adult. Almost gave up vinyl altogether after this experience)2021 - Technics SL1210GR. Glad I didn't give up as my analog rig has surpassed my digital in terms of SQ.
3way replacement for my 2way
I’d also like to solve the issue of turning my two way into a three way....AHH thank you very much!!....Double entendres aside, it would be very easy to recommend Vandersteen 1ci’s or even the new 2’s. Especially if you’re looking for more warmth ...
Need advice/opinion in choosing Vandy 2ci or Thiel 1.5
Small room 10x12. Do your self a favor and get the Vandy 1ci's. I prefer them over the 2's and personally think they'll do better in your small room. -Joe
Ok, what just happened? My turntable journey...thus far.
@artemus_5  I never realized that until now. I have one of those Pangea Vulcan racks from Audio Advisor.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I didn’t realize this topic was so thoroghly covered in the Spirings Under Turntable thread. I just got done reading the first page. Some interesting discussion for sure. Does anyone else have any experience with t...
Looking for a tube preamp with remote control.
Perhaps checkout the Quicksilver Remote linestage. I've heard the non-remote linestage and thought it was excellent. I'd like to add one to my arsenal at some point.
MM Cartridge Recommendation
I have experience with running the both the Ortofon 2M Black and the AT VM760SLC the Aria integrated phono stage. The Ortofon will defintely be the warmer of the two. I found the AT to be a tad too bright for my tastes at times. I have since upgra...
Calling out spatial audio m3 sapphire owners!
OP,jjss49's eloquent post made me rethink the tone of mine. I know that I'm in the minority with this brand. There are a lot of folks that enjoy them as evidenced by the enthusiastic support it has on Audio Circle. Just not for me. Best,Joe

Curiosity is a helluva thing. I get it.... Just their name alone....S..P..A..T..I..A..L... You’re thinking they must have a sound stage as wide as the grand canyon.I made the mistake with both of the brands you mentioned. I purchased the M5 Sapphi...
Purchasing from LP Gear
@kingharold"I really appreciate all the responses. Despite the fact that LP Gear’s website still states that they have the Audio Technica ART9 for sale when I finally got a return e-mail from them this afternoon it stated that they do not have it....
Parasound Preamp
After purchasing the P6/A21+ combo, mainly based on features, looks, and the advice of someone I used to trust; I will most likely never purchase another piece of Parasound gear again. The P6 pre in particular is boring, flat, and lackluster sound...
