Better than the Project Carbon TT for $ 500.00 Why not just rip those remaining 18 LPs down to digital and create CDs? No need for a table (given your initial statement).
Michael Fremer's record cleaning process.... Wagner and Hitler have exactly WHAT to do with MF's record cleaning process?
old AR XA with mods vs Rega RP1 Much better to upgrade to a good arm like a Jelco SA-750D, depending on the cartridge. 750D >>> better than the audimod/rega.
old AR XA with mods vs Rega RP1 You would be disappointed with the Rega. It would be a very big step backwards.

best value current production tonearm I agree with Pbnaudio. The Jelco SA-750 arms (you pick the length) are hands down best buys, best bang for the buck.
How do you respond to this question? I listen to vinyl because.... because... 42.
Feedback on Monster Alpha 2 Cartridge Cmalak - yes.
Feedback on Monster Alpha 2 Cartridge An AT OC9/II will smoke it for well-under $400 (on current sale).
Phono preamp with two inputs: two MMs or MM+MC? BTW, I have not heard a London/Decca cartridge so I can't comment on how it sounds. (I want to hear it.)
Phono preamp with two inputs: two MMs or MM+MC? IMO, and this is ONLY my opinion (not stating as fact), is that there is not any advantage to a SUT in the better phono stages. My preference is the MC input rather than an SUT into a MM input. As far as I'm concerned, SUT / MM input combo is only... |
