Products you added to your system in 2021 that made most impact to your music enjoyment
Custom made pure silver speaker wires for my Tannoy super tweeters on my Tannoy Churchill’s. Wow soundstage and clarity in spades.
Moving away from inefficient/low impedance speaker in order to move to a Tube Amp
I have McIntosh MC30s driving 4ohm Sonus Faber Venere S’s. No problems
Tube Preamps that work well with SS amps?
McIntosh MC500 and C2300 tube preamp. Also an Mx110z and MC30s both of which are tubes. A tube amp and preamp doesn’t necessarily produce the results you’re are referring.
Mc 240 vs. Prima Luna
McIntosh, you have a highly sought after beautiful sounding amplifier that was made in the USA! Please this is a no brainer…..for the love of music.
Best Phono You've Heard Under $2200
+1 on the McIntosh MX110Z, I use it with a Dynavector SUT and a Dynavector XXII cartridge. Beautiful!
Describe the sound of point source loudspeakers?
I have Tannoy Churchill's. They are stunning. Warm articulate and have an impressive soundstage. With that, I'd say the soundstage they are capable of sets them apart.
Tube Amp, Preamp upgrades -- what did you do that improved your units?
Use Cardas Silver Solder
Blue Lights
McIntosh D150
What were the radio stations of your youth that helped you on your music/audio journey?
WNEW in New York! I still think about them. And when we moved to Florida WQSR Quad 102.5 in Sarasota!  Both ruled my seventies childhood.
What comes after Harbeth 30.1s?

Looking for Speaker Input
I think you have a really nice system as it stands. It all depends on what your trying to achieve, and that could be a link in the chain, not just your speakers. Try a different approach.
