16 bit vs 24 bit vs 35 bit vs 36 bit vs 64 bit DAC sampling
I believe the higher bit rates make it easier to perform the conversion pushing noise and distortion beyond human hearing, it also improves digital volume control if at least 32 bit is used.
More proof that music is not just an aural sensation.
No need for Nobel laureates to tell me what sitting beside a boom box on wheels at red lights has informed me of for years. At any rate the research is about tactile stimulation from pressure waves at least the part you're trying to insinuate has ...

Music Direct, Crutchfield, Audio Asylum all list certain speakers single price. Pro audio lists a lot of speakers single.
Fidelity vs. Musicality...........Is there a tug of War?
The timbre of instruments is determined by the harmonic spectrum and the attack and decay of each harmonic relative to the fundamental. This means changing the frequency response (local ratio of harmonics opposite the fundamentals) or the decay of ...
Fidelity vs. Musicality...........Is there a tug of War?
Kal posts on ASR why not go ask him what he thinks since he uses  AHB2 in his system. Who knows might have been the speakers after all.
Fidelity vs. Musicality...........Is there a tug of War?
The Benchmark AHB2 has pushed distortion and noise so low it is inaudible to humans. Kijanki is correct you might not like it but the AHB2 is as close to a straight wire with gain as we've gotten. All this blabbing about harmonics is nonsense with...
New Bluesound Node vs Cambridge CXN v2 for High Res Streaming?
I guess your cambridge setup is messed up or the unit is defective. Read the manual, the CXN v2  passes digital through up to 24/192 on the toslink or coax. If using toslink it could be the cable as some do not work well above 24/96 .
You own a store, you sell 2 brands, which?
Genelec and Focusrite.
Fidelity vs. Musicality...........Is there a tug of War?
In order to retrieve the tonal correctness of voice and instruments see above. High fidelity. Inaudible NOISE and DISTORTION and FLAT  UNCOLORED FR.
New Bluesound Node vs Cambridge CXN v2 for High Res Streaming?
The CXN v2 upsamples everything to 24/384 when using it in preamp mode. If you're using an outboard DAC I believe the signal just passes through.
Fidelity vs. Musicality...........Is there a tug of War?
HiFiVery few here are interested in fidelity. It was the pinnacle at one time now it's "musicality" whatever the crap that is.High fidelity (often shortened to Hi-Fi or HiFi) is a term used by listeners, audiophiles, and home audio enthusiasts to ...
Fidelity vs. Musicality...........Is there a tug of War?
HiFi is dead...long live musicality whatever that is.
