Anyone compare LUMIN U1 mini to Sim Mind 2?
I preferred the U1 mini to the Mind2 only for the interface, I couldn't tell any difference in SQ. If I was using Roon I would just use a raspberry pi 4 as an endpoint to the DAC.
What is wrong with my system?
B&W could use EQ, try Dirac, REW or something to smooth those things out.
Could someone help figure out a setup?
The Genelec are always excellent desktop speakers or you could look at JBL. There are desktop stands and pads available as well.https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/LSR308mk2pr--jbl-308p-mkii-8-inch-powered-studio-monitors-pa...
What speaker do you passionately want to demo?
There are a lot I would like to give a listen to but the ones I most want to try is the Genelec W371A with my 8351B’S. What would be amazing is getting a listen in Morten Lindberg’s immersive studio.
List your breakthrough products that you’ve discovered on this audiophile Journey.
Active monitors and DSP.
Cable Goop Review George is going to freak!!
I have no idea why anyone would freak over a subjective review.
Your thoughts on active loudspeakers
You don't mention price but I would look at Dutch and Dutch 8c  and Genelec the Ones. Ignore comments about cheap class D etc.. for the price there isn't a passive speaker around that will do what these can do.
List a Condition you know of that will produce Better Sound
Active speakers with DSP controlled crossovers are better than passive.
Rank the tweaks, geeks!
There are those who claim to hear improvement without using basic controls for bias, everything we hear can be measured. If you want to spend money on a switch get a managed switch and set your streamer for priority.
How to design a high end crossover…
DSP active left passive behind years ago. Thankfully the professionals know it. The best speaker companies in the world are using active.

You're in the past the future is DSP controlled active crossovers.
Best sub for music,
The best sub for music isn’t a sub but a bass extension. Genelec W371a with GLM digital management. Bargain at $19K a pair.https://www.genelec.com/w371a
What is the most important component to consider while building a new system?
Speakers, acoustic treatments and DSP, Source material preferably good digital. The rest of the electronics as long as distortion and noise is below human audible level are not that important.
A full range speaker?
I’ve always understood full range to be 20hz - 20khz very few passives unless they are pretty large can do full range. I don't know of any that will do full range with an FR that looks decent without PEQ preferably DSP.
A full range speaker?
Your in room response is what matters not the anechoic. Revel Salon 2 are close-mic down 4db at 20hz but UP 3db at 20hz in room response. https://www.stereophile.com/content/revel-ultima-salon2-loudspeaker-measurementsThe JTR Noesis 215RT is anoth...
