Lampizator Review
$55K now with KT88 tubes. Jay's Audio Lab had a presentation of the version from a year ago. Then the Lampi Pacific was $30K. I suppose to the millionaire class these prices are just pocket change! I feel that gear like this is just jewelry and so...
Fosi V3 Mono Break-In
Remarkable performance for not much money! Look out all you makers of four and five-figure amps!
Interconnect Break In?
@audphile1 Pick a number out of a hat, eh!
High end bookshelf speakers for Small room
A pair of original Snell Type K's would be a much better value than the exorbitantly priced Audio Note K's. I have the originals.
Bluesound mode not really cutting it
@oddiofyl +1 Streamers are all pretty much equivalent. No point in spending thousands of dollars when a WiiM Pro for $200 sounds no different than a four-figure streamer contrary to what the golden ears crowd claims.
Do power bricks break in?
No they don't as your simple test proved. The volume level between 32 volts and 48 would be the same because the amp gain doesn't change. The 48 volt bricks just increase current headroom, which is a good thing.
Interconnect Break In?

Interconnect Break In?
Wire does not "break in". If it did it would have been observed during the first widespread use of wire for communication - the telegraph era of the 1830's.
Open baffle speakers
The Carver Amazing Platinum is a successful open-baffle speaker using four high-Q 12" woofers crossed over at 100hz to a 60 inch ribbon driver. They sound fine without the need for active amplification for the woofers.

@mijostyn : I have a nicely upgraded pair of DQ10's and have no complaints about the 3-D imaging qualities. Go read Harry Pearson's 1975 review in TAS. He praised them for their life-like presentation of space!
Open baffle speakers
@vetsc5 +1 The DQ10 is a remarkable design that 50 (!!!) years later can still compete with today's over-priced speakers. I have a nicely upgraded pair on custom stands. I find the bass adequate though a sub does help if playing pipe organ recordi...

Let's hear some DSOTM on that weird speaker system!
Cornwall IVs with Yamaha a-s1200
@deep_333 +1! Yamaha integrated amps will match well with the Cornwalls.
Power cord upgrade
@squared80 +1! The whole wire business is without scientific backing. It functions as a religion.
Cornwall IVs with Yamaha a-s1200
There are much better speakers for less money than the Cornwalls.
