Dust Removal
I don’t have a real problem with it but I do keep a microfiber cloth over both of my turntables when not in use.
Do Your Speakers have LEVEL CONTROLS or EQUALIZERS? (Vintage or Modern) ???
My Large Advents and KLH Model 5s had switches which I never used, just kept them in the neutral position.  My Boston Acoustics A400s and current Harbeths do not.  I don’t feel like I’m really missing anything.  Just my $0.02 worth.
What's your favorite lyric from a song?
A little late to the party here, but my favorite sng lyrics are by Queen.  The song '39 to be exact. In the year of '39, assembled here the volunteers In the days when lands were few Here the ship sailed out into the blue and sunny morn The swee...
The Good Stuff
@rok2id Not familiar with "Dexter Gordon and Orchestra MORE THAN YOU KNOW SteepleChase 1975 / 1989" But I have yet to be disappointed by anything I have purchased on Steeplechase Records.
Better Records vs MoFi
So I just ordered "Heart - Dog and Butterfly - Super Hot Stamper (Quiet Vinyl)". Can't wait to compare it to my original copy that I purchased new when it first came out.
Better Records vs MoFi
I'm really tempted to try comparing one from BR against one of my original pressings that I find to be exceptional.  Gonna need to keep an eye open for one that would be a good comparison.  Mostly just for curiosity's sake.
List some of your favorite live Jazz recordings
Most threads on Agon make me wish there was a block button available.  This one makes me wish there was a like button!  Some many albums to revisit and more importantly, so many to experience for the first time!  Thanks to everyone who has and wil...

@curiousjim I ordered An Evening With Ron Carter & Richard Galliano last night on Discogs, unfortunately I won’t have it to enjoy over the long weekend.  But my copy of Brilliant Corners arrived today and just finished getting a bath and is no...

@curiousjim I haven't heard that, (I will now), but recently saw this and just bought it on a whim and it's surprising enjoyable.  With bass, percussion, brass and piano as well, the accordion isn't overwhelming.

@pjw81563 Measurements have their place, but when someone relies solely on them, I ain't buying what they're selling.  And there was one review in particular that sealed the deal for me, when their results were so diametrically opposed to what I h...

@curiousjim You can NEVER go wrong with a Kenny Drew day!  I already have 4 KD albums cleaned and ready to go for the upcoming long weekend!
Burn in vs perception
@erik_squires Good to know, thanks.  If I decide to put them in service I'll power them up a few days in advance and set the circuit in the power regenerator they're plugged into to stay powered up 24/7.  Thanks again.
Burn in vs perception
@erik_squires Can I ask what class D amps you had this experience with?  I have a pair of PS Audio M1200 amps still in the boxes they came in (bought used).  Not sure when I’ll put them in service, they’re more intended as backups right now, but I...
