Speaker placement, Home theater and hi-fi mains
Magic Triangle, no more, no less. Pull them out at least two feet in front of your TV.
Internet Radio on Audiophile Quality 2 Channel System
A good FM signal and station sounds pretty good. Streaming on the other hand is subject to whatever quality the "station" streams and the quality of the source it uses.
hearing loss and amp choices
If you can still get a good stereo image, you won't want to down grade. And if you can't get a good stereo image, you'll still want a good mono set-up. I'm not a Rotel fan so I can't recommend that no matter what your hearing acuity is.

Input, please
If it's the top silver plate around the tubes, just use a few dollops of silicone adhesive.
Should Audiogon forum dealers be held to a different standard?
Dealers should have two log-ins. One in the dealer's name and one in their own name. Separation of the business vs the person.
What cause tweeters hiss ?
Hiss can be solved in most cases, unless a component is very, very noisy. Here's a linky: A Discussion About Idle Hiss – Upscale Audio
New Magnaplanar 1.7 delaminating and buzzing.
It sounds like both panels need to go back to Magnepan.
Tube Integrated Under 1,500
If you can find a Prima Luna for 1500, go for that. Otherwise, it's hard to find good tube integrated amps for that kind of money.
Tracking force
Depending on the tonearm, I would try 2.0 grams first.
