How to check relays in a preamp?
What relays? What's not working?
Looking for wider soundstage
The pictures help. I'll just throw out what I see and you can just consider what I am suggesting. What I would do is pull the speakers out into the room a foot or two more and add some toe-in. The tall equipment rack is not helping and the sofa is...

It's going to be a setup issue you got the gear. Waiting on pictures.
Top Songs You Can Sing Along with When Highly Intoxicated (or Other Compromised State)
I can't sing, sober or not. I spent my childhood in choirs but when my voice dropped, it was all over.
Rogue Hybrid Integrated fine, then one channel silent
Maybe I'm over simplifying but when you have tube gear and something goes sideways, it's the tube.
If my Kenwood KD decks can't be repaired?
I've never heard of a turntable being called a deck. Is that a UK thing?
Panels on the ceiling
Have the popcorn removed, it's an easy job, especially if you have someone else do it.
Albums you do not get...a plea for help and understanding
@danager I felt the same way about Cassandra Wilson New moon daughter but after a while she's growing on me. How could you not like the crickets? I thought my turntable was running at half speed, except I don't have a TT anymore.
Mixed Brand Pre-Amp Power Amp Pairings that Work
Pretty much all of top level hobbyists choose the best pre-amp and choose an amp from different manufacturers. That is what I see on most systems, swapping gear is a constant process and being bound by just one manufacturer is very limiting. I've ...
Beware poor sounding media
I've said this before, but the goal of my music system(s) is to make sure it plays 95% of my music in a listenable manor. If you tune your system too tight, you end up with just a few songs that sound good and everything else is junk.
Ok ..I have Maggie 1.7is on Magnarisers but one keeps blowing the "tweeter"
If you are blowing tweeter fuses you probably want to keep the fuses in place. Maggie might even reject working on the loudspeakers if you tell them that, it voids the warranty.
How To Match Power Tubes
When you buy a set of matched power tubes the box should have the measurements written on the box. When you get the tubes, install in your amp and write on the top of the box which position the tube is in. 1,2,3, etc. When and if a tube fails you ...
Amp & Pre or Integrated for Dynaudio Heritage Special
One of the big Musical Fidelity integrated amps will do the trick. Maybe a M6si. But I have to say that would not be the way I would go. You can only get so much out of a little bookshelf loudspeaker. You really want the power and weight of a good...
For classical music lovers best amp for large orchestral forces?
You want a big solid state amp. You will know the right one, it will be big, heavy, and expensive. I’d go at least 250wpc. You wanted recommendations: Parasound JC1s or maybe a Bryson 14B or 4B.
125W @16ohm, what amp?
I want it full blast, is a 200w amp fine (2x100w)? If you want to play loud, you want real power. These are sound reinforcement type loudspeakers, they will play loud, not sure if you will want to hear what comes out.
