Analysis Plus customer service


So I wanted to let you know of an frustrating order issue I had with Analysis Plus. As I replied in the “favorite cable brand” Analysis Plus has been my favorite cable and have used them for years. After running Straight Wire, Kimber, and Audio Quest to name a few, all are great companies with very well made products, I have found that with my system and my taste in music tone Analysis Plus is the best sounding.

So a little over a month ago I wanted to upgrade my cables and wanted to upgrade to Analysis Plus Solo Crystal Oval 8 speaker wire that was shotgun bi-wired. And at the same time I ordered a Digital Crystal for the streamer to DAC, and a pair of Solo Crystal XLR interconnects for the SACD to amp. Pretty easy order right?
Well everything showed up and was awesome looking but the cables that showed up were a internal bi-wire and not shotgunned? So I sent them back and waited for the correct cables to come in....

Here is where some miscommunication happened. For some reason my order was confused as to what I wanted and they resent the same cables back to me? There was also several people from Analysis Plus that called me to make sure the order was correct but I think that because there were several people involved at this point the order was once again put in wrong! This is when I started to really get frustrated! This was, at least for me, a very expensive order, for cables anyway and we were a month out now and still not getting it right because of miscommunication.

Then Shane, Analysis Plus’ head cable guy called! And he really stepped up and made things right! Shane personally made my cables, he discounted the price on them, and he shipped them over night to me! When they came in Shane had also put in a extra set of their Oval One interconnects and a Analysis Plus T-Shirt! Now that is going all the way for customer service! Thank you Shane!!!!!

The cables were made perfectly! And even though they still need break-in they sound amazing right out of the box! Oh and they look killer! Two monster purple and silver 8ga oval wires to your speakers kinda make a statement lol

Hats off to Analysis Plus and to Shane for smoothing over a miscommunication and making the order right!

Glad to hear the boss finally got things straightened out. I've recently had a similar experience with another company. They all meant well but their in-house communication ....
Good to share and to hear they got it worked out for ya.  Their company deals with NASA contracts, and yet no customer is too small. Also, good to read this since they lost their founder, Mark, they are keeping AP going well!. They are making him proud up there, wherever he is.  

The only complaint I had about my own AP Crystal Solo interconnects compared to others in the industry is how long it takes for them to settle in and show their worth. The gold or light at the end of the long tunnel is 300hrs away, and would never have believed it myself until having gone through it on three pairs.

I feel for you but in my case, it took 400 hours for my Canare 4S11 cables to fully break in and we are talking peanuts compared to what the OP spent.  Canare told me around 400 hours and they were pretty much on the money.
