Why would I worry about my cables?
The music sounds just fine.
The fact that many people don’t even have the speakers in the right place, but stress over cables, is more of a problem.

So I am not at all stressed about the cables, but I thought I should take a picture of them until the new ones arrive, mainly just for $hits-n-goggles.

I am not going to be embarrassed to want to listen to things while I am awaiting new cable, or even am I sure whether new cables will make any difference at all.
(But they certainly will for the other speakers that do not have any cables.)

The parallels of woke virtue signally with audiophile cable, fuse, and power cord signalling is astounding.

Getting the TT parts in, and the thing refurbished, is way more important than my speaker cords.

It is the second time i had covid...I caught it one years ago already...it last 2 or 3 days...Fever and sore throat, extreme fatigue this first time...

It is not the regular flu at all...It is more dangerous yes...

But the number of people very badly affected is very small though... Mostly older one with co-morbidities...

I was ill for 2 days now this second time, and the symptoms already regressed this morning... I am 70 years old...vitamin c, vitamin d, curcuma, zinc+green tea, nigella sativa+ honey...It work read about it...it is less bad than the first time i caught it...But the duration is the same...

Vaccination MUST be targetting very old people or people with co-morbities or people with no great immune defense THATS ALL... Renouncing freedom for UNSCIENTIFIC MASS VACCINATION  is dumber than dumb....Censoring Joe Rogan because he interviewd two very great scientists is the door open to dictatorship by big corporations... Neil Young is senile...

@mahgister wow. I have been hearing ambulances this year around my house non stop. All hours of the night.

I even said this to all my friends and family, never experienced anything like this.

All since the beginning of last year.

 

 

@mahgister  - glad you are feeling OK. The problem with your logic is that many people are not aware they have comorbidity. Also, this affects overweight people disproportionately, something the media should be emphasizing (and living a healthier lifestyle), but somehow that is politically incorrect and I am sure some of these people do not think of themselves as overweight.

I wouldn't say the number of people badly affected is very small. It is in the millions. Very few of those are vaccinated, almost all of them have comorbidity. The hospitals (I spoke with a doctor the other day) are overwhelmed by unvaccinated patients because of omicron. Even though it is less virulent, the sheer number of people that caught it make even a very small number of those people needing significant medical attention too high for hospitals to handle their normal business.

I am not saying not to treat the unvaccinated, but to give other patients that were vaccinated or in there for other urgent problems priority. 

The risk of negative outcomes for covid dwarfs the risk of the vaccine. It should be discussed with the patient's personal doctor. They will not mandate (at least mine wouldn't ever), they will recommend a course of action (I take my doctor's advice and many times he asks me what I think and we decide together). If they think you will have no adverse reaction, I don't envision any doctor except for quacks and complete outliers from the medical profession not recommending the vaccine. I am not talking about listening to corrupt politicians, government agencies or Joe Rogan or one of his guests (like Aaron Rogers did and then lied about it), YOUR DOCTOR.

It should be discussed with the patient’s personal doctor.

For best results, always consult with experts, not random wannabe’s on the internet.

If your hifi does not sound good, you might find some useful info here if you take the time to synthesis it properly.  That too requires expertise.   Everyone is entitled to an opinion and everyone has a few.

Mandates are not enforced. You can choose not to enjoy a privilege that requires proof of vaccination, and you can not enter a place that mandates masks.
