No Private Messages for Me

I've gotten several new private messages from members who were able to send me a message.  Perhaps you already have a credit card on file?  Most companies keep your credit card for 7 years.  

Under each message is a box from Audiogon with this message in it:

"You must have a verified phone number and payment method to send messages."

Yes its a silly way to to promote buying and selling on a site that does just that! Agon...dump the cc thing!

I detect no change.

They’ll learn later on, when communications are restricted, members just end up going elsewhere over time. Storing Cc information for no good reason is a security liability, yet with all the same negative posts and repeat offenders showing up (under different account handles), maybe they are trying to validate member authenticity more to keep the same agitator trolls out. Maybe they'll post a policy reason for some of the recent site changes going on, who knows.
