Yep.  Find out what the Stock Tubes are then contact Andy's Tube Services and be prepared to tell him what your looking for. He ain't easy to get holt of but its worth it. My Mullards from him have been valving for years.

where do you live? I'll have to check but I think I've got a small bunch of used 12au7's, you could borrow various brands, listen, get some insight

Contact Nick @ Rogue as someone already suggested. They had RCA clear tops for my RP-5 pre and recommended those for their lusher midrange.

Not sure if the same applies to the Dragon. I'd be curious to know the findings. I'm going to try a Dragon in my setup shortly.
