What’s your vote for the most ridiculous, overpriced, and useless tweak?

Seriously... A $3200 Record Clap.  Why?  Guess some audio folks have money to burn.

I took a photo from an audio show where a massive and expensive power cable was hanging out of a 69c hotel outlet.
Gave me a laugh.

For those using audiophile quality outlet covers and screws, are you using them on all outlets common to a breaker?  If not, do you notice any outlet cover sound degradation from receptacle cover cross contamination?
