New Bluesound Node might make older node easy/cheap entry point for reluctant streamers

I've had the Node 2i for a bit more than a year and have been happy with it. Now there's a new Node. I was glad to see Hans break down the differences, and hear his opinion that the new one doesn't sound appreciably different or better.  https://youtu.be/t5J-EJL0D9U?t=784

What this means for those curious about streaming, I suspect, is that there may be new supply and lower prices for discounted or used Node 2i's. I've already alerter a couple of friends curious about streaming to this and they may get a great deal and finally put a toe into streaming.

I'm seeing prices declining on eBay already. Not dropping off a cliff, but definitely trending lower.
Saw one 2i sell for $220, but that was definitely a freak occurrence...to the dismay of the seller.
Saw another that was at $179 1 min and 13 seconds before close and just before I placed a bid, it disappeared.  The next day, the same seller with same photos listed one with a starting bid of $420. Hmmm
It is/was a good starting point for streaming, but benefited greatly from an external DAC. I suspect menu befan streaming due to this model.
just bought mine for$485 after letting them know that Amazon was selling for $486. SQ is like a good CD. I bought Audio quest Red Rivers  interconnects and its enjoyable. Not as good as my LP 12 set up, but this was expected. A DAC may follow in the future.
