Speaker cable advice

I have a pair of Clear Day speaker cables and am looking for an upgrade as I think they are now the weak link in my system.  Looking for something a tad warmer as well with more fleshed out tones.  Any advice appreciated.

My system: Rega Osiris, Rega Isis, Rega Aura, Rega P10, Harbeth C7ES-3, Shunyata power

Hello Mike -
I had (and still do) a pair of Clear Day double shotgun speaker cables.  When I needed something warmer, I went to Cardas Clear Reflection.

Having written that, I do suggest you hold on to your Clear Days.  You might find down the road you have an amp/speaker combination that benefits from a little less warmth and the Clear Days will be just the ticket.  I think Clear Day wire is very very good and compares favorably to much more expensive cable.  Paul is missed.
Avoid anything that is silver-plated.

Anything with silver will make your system sound brighter. (Conductivity at 106%)

Go for a continous cast copper with high purity.

Absolute nonsense. A myth repeatedly propagated by inexperienced listeners.

I am a prior owner (and lover) of Clear Day Double Shotgun bi-wire speaker cables, and a current owner of pure silver Audio Note SPx bi-wire. Neither were/are brighter than copper, or other multi-alloy cabling I have owned.

Agreed. I've had Clear Day, Tempo Electric, Cabledyne, and now Darwin cables and they're all silver and none sounded bright. They can sound as full bodied as copper as well.

All the best,
Nonoise
