Phono pre amp suggestion

Right now, I'm using the phono stage on a on my Technics S-UG 700MK2 for my Micro Seiki DD 40 with Ortofon 2M Black. I had been thinking of getting a pro-ject  tube box S2 or Vincent PHO-701 and was hoping someone could let me know if this would be an improvement or could suggest phono amp in the same price range that might be.
