If you love the Legacy sound, why not move up the line?
Logical next step from Legacy Signature SEs? Around $15K...
Honestly, I think Legacy in general has the best bang for your buck for speakers. And these are incredible in my room...but like always, well, what's next? And I would also like the footprint to be a bit smaller.
Mostly I am afraid of losing the end to end coherence, as these speakers go from very deep to very high without really standing out. But I am also partial to silk dome tweeters, a bit warmer sound and good aesthetics.
What would be some of the options, where I guess, I will lose out on the bottom end, but gain midrange and high end?

Oh yes, many people are happy with Youtube sound quality, just as many are happy with Spotify, which like YT is lossy. My system is fairly resolving, so for me it’s often easy to hear the difference between lossy sources such as YT and mp3s, and files that are CD quality or better. |
@stereo5 , because they are huge, Signatures are already pretty large. One of the reasons for change is something slimmer, could be taller but looking at a smaller footprint. As for YouTube, it’s fine for casual listening but I use Tidal for streaming. Anyway not really looking for monitors, rather floorstanders that’d be a class or two higher.

If this was me, I'd be curious about the JA Pearls (as @soix mentioned). I'd also be interested in these, if you could do local pickup. I know the designer -- he's amazing.
