Sagging power plugs in wall outlet, diy

heh-heh, actually, I did buy the two-cup plate. Seemed like if I was going to go half way, might as well go all the way. 

This seems to be a simple fix

See my pictures in my virtual system for the fix I used.  Upgraded the outlet to the Audioquest NRG Edison 20 (big improvement in grasp).  I also went to a foam store to buy some rigit foam and cut it to size to support the cable.  I also have used this to separate interconnect (cut to size).

Ok. Now that we got the wall plug solution….How do we fix the loose component plug that drops off due to heavy plugs/cables?  This is a bigger problem here.

@tksteingraber Well the 90 degree IEC socket is also potentially a fix here, since that reduces leverage.  For my Luxman, which originally had a 2 prong socket I swapped it for a 3-prong which added just enough grip.

There are also locking IEC plugs.
