Streamer question

Please pardon my ignorance, but I've researched and I'm not finding what I'm looking for.

I currently house my music library in this configuration: NAS > PC > USB > DAC > RCA > Integrated amp. I use Roon as my primary and the Roon core is on an SSD plugged into the NAS. I run Tidal via Roon.

I'm looking for a streaming device to eliminate the USB cable, but that allows me to stream from my personal library (using Roon) as well as Tidal (while not using Roon).

Roon is flaky for me and sometimes I find it's not worth the hassle of dealing with, so I'd like to option to simplify things and stream directly from Tidal.

Everything I see is for streaming from a service (Roon/Quboz), but I'm not finding much on streaming my own personal library as well.

Hope this makes sense. Any help appreciated!

@mclinnguy

I have just over 125000 tracks

After 1.5 yrs of problems Roon tech support informed me Room could not handle my library of flac files on my NAS

It was how I organized them in files that was the issue

Roon doesn't really make this stuff known and their customer support model for dealing with such challenges is just plain terrible (*see the 1.5 yes it took them to tell me this).

They then would not refund my $$$ for the subscription nor allow me to return the nucleus + I purchased (with additional memory installed @ their advice ). They told me Room was working as advertised and the problem was my library

Innuos Sense has zero issues with the very same library

And support is prompt and competent when you need it.

I'm just curious here, but could you give me an example of an artist that has over 1000 albums?  Thanks.

Currently the streamer giving you the best sound quality under $500 that could play local usb storage files is CA MXN10. Take advantage of $100 saving now in holiday.
