Recommended Component Cable

Hi,

I need a new component cable to connect my Pioneer DV37 to my sony 53" HDTV. I am currently using monster cable but I need a new length (probably 6' to 8' feet). Naturally, I want to best picture possible and I don’t mind spending something in the range of $150 new or used. I saw good reviews on BetterCables but I would like to hear any recommandations. I have invested a lot of money in my recent upgrade and want to see the best results from the DV37 and the Sony HDTV.

Any input/opinion/recommendation will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Raanaan, if you are capable of "DIY", you might want to think about picking up some raw Belden and good quality RCA's and doing it yourself. This would not only give you the most bang for the buck, you could also cut to fit. Nothing worse than having an extra foot or three on ALL of your cables... : ) Sean

PS... If you need specific part number, check the Cable Asylum. The cable that they are using for digital interconnects is the one that you would want. Can't remember the number, but it is the ALL teflon model. If you can't find it, i'm sure that myself or someone else would be glad to look it up for you.
Try looking into Canare products. They are very good and reasonably priced. They may have something for you. More information at: www.canare.com
purist audio or synergistics new active shilding, they are really very very good but cost more than 150$.and try to use component
Bettercables will do a good job and so will the LAT International brand (order direct also) - both hard to beat for the price.
