KEF final call
I lived with the R11 for a year or so then got upgrade-itus. I was looking for something more organic sounding with more/ and lower bass. I think a pair of R3's with two subs and tube amp would make a fantastic system.  Thanks for the heads up. ...
What's your picks
Magnepan LRS+ or .7 might be a good recommendation if you like that sound and have the proper amplification. I'm certainly having fun with my .7's and I've had probably close to a dozen speakers.
Integrated amp recommendation for Maggie .7's
Wow, someone's triggered. Came onto my thread twice to put me down. Get a life.
Integrated amp recommendation for Maggie .7's
@ditusa I would consider the Pharaoh. I've heard it a bunch at Quest for Sound in Bensalem, PA.
Integrated amp recommendation for Maggie .7's
@ghdprentice @skucie I've spied that unit at AudioConnection in Verona, NJ. I think I actually heard it with a pair of VLR's. Musical and beautiful amp sounds good to me....
Integrated amp recommendation for Maggie .7's
I installed resistors and it definitely helped.
Integrated amp recommendation for Maggie .7's
@rodman99999  - room is 11' x 13' - i like it to sound as big and full as possible - i think i only notice the brashness at high volume levels ~85db Also I do have (2) Rel T5/i subs that I employ occasionally. Sometimes I just like to listen to ...
Maggie owners -- Mye or Magna Riser stands
I cannot compare Mye vs. Magna Riser, but I'm very pleased with the Magna Riser vs. the stock stands on my .7's. Now my panels don't point at the ceiling. There was a noticeable improvement in sonics with the Magna Risers. They took a LONG time to...

Another vote for Rogue Sphinx.
The LRS+ Speakers
@rankaudio That's interesting. I primarily listen to jazz: Miles Davis, Bill Evans, Oscar Peterson, Chet Baker, Wes Montgomery, Ray Brown, etc. etc. and find they image exceptionally well. I'm discovering that Maggie's - in my application - need t...
The LRS+ Speakers
@mesch All Belles. Aria Signature pre and Aria 112wpc monos. The guy makes great affordable gear.
The LRS+ Speakers
I've owned numerous speakers in my relatively short time in this hobby (about 6 years now). They include: Vandersteen 1ci Vandersteen 2ce Sig II Tekton Electron Paradigm Prestige 75F Kef R11 HHR Exotic Ohm F redesign (TLS1 hybrid) Vandersteen Tr...
Speakers for a unique small room
@justinrphillips I like the way you're thinking with your last post. Why spend money now when your room will be changing in the not-so-distant future.
Large mid/bass, soft-dome tweeter, high(ish) sensitivity
One more thing to add, I know you said you listen at relatively low volumes, but I’ve cranked the Vandys to ridiculously high volumes at times and they hold together. I’m not sure the same can be said about the Lintons. Also I felt the Vandy’s had...
Large mid/bass, soft-dome tweeter, high(ish) sensitivity
Vandersteen and Linton I would both consider warmish. Amazing mid-range, polite slightly rolled off highs. I think my Vandy 1ci's put out satisfying bass to where I don't need a sub. What are your room dimensions?
