Suggestion for $10K soup to nuts digital? Before I can consider it, I will have to wait for a sizable amount of reviews. Will stay on the lookout for them.
Its not vinyl @OP, I talked about that very thing before. I find it weird that many folks are so bent on wanting their digital to sound analog, hence the R2R craze. It really didn't do much for me with the Aries 2 and I much rather the sound of the delta sigma ...
Suggestion for $10K soup to nuts digital? @blisshifi Thanks about the news for the aurender conductor V3 app for Android, but as it is still in development I will have to wait to see how it is rated once in production. Glad to see they are attempting to address the issues. However I hop...
Its not vinyl Analog and digital sound slightly different. With the right setups they sound equally good so you can just listened to the music rather than analyzing it. I agree with MikeLavigne. He got there with outstanding room setup and equipment, I got ther...
Suggestion for $10K soup to nuts digital? These kind of discussions somehow often turn into platforms for dealers to promote their products. It would be much more meaningful if dealers sales pitches were separated by the administration from the public's opinions of products they experienc...
Power cords or power conditioner @wheelndeal1099 It seems as you already know the answer, room and acoustics. I would never have gotten where I'm at in my journey without starting from scratch and addressing both. All the equipment upgrade in the world in my old listening room/...
Walk me thru upgrading from my BS Node To the OP: Lots of info in yesterday's discussion "NODE as a streamer". It will save me endless repetition. Life is too short.
NODE as just a streamer / Airplay device Good move. The thing I find with my setup is the Pardo does get better after warming up each session. The longer it goes the better it seems. Also putting the Node on isolators really livens up the sound with even better clarity. I use some 1/4 t...
NODE as just a streamer / Airplay device @12many the main reason for using USB to a dac is if you want to use the dac's clock. All other connections will use the Node's clock. That is what I found out in my research about the subject. HUGE difference if you have a good dac.
NODE as just a streamer / Airplay device This may interest some. Since I operate my streamer with my android phone as a remote, there are very few options for me. It automatically eliminates Auralic since they do not do Android. Lumin and Aurender both have huge issues with it, just look...
NODE as just a streamer / Airplay device After all, that's why many sites have the poster's system listed below each of their posts and of course all reviewers post theirs too with each review. Without that info, I respectfully learn nothing.
NODE as just a streamer / Airplay device NODE N130 with Pardo LPS powered with Shunyata venom 14 PC to Gustard X26 PRO via DH Labs silver USB cable so it uses the superior Gustard clock instead of the Node. Blujeans ethernet cable from NODE to TP-Link extender. Bingo, life is good. Viny...
Aurender N200 @ghdprentice I hear you but I want to use my android phone and the aurender conductor app has a horrendous 2.9 * rating. I hear it works well with an iPad, but is a mess with android. That many bad reviews can't be all wrong. .
Aurender N200 Interesting that there are quite a number of Aurender listed for sale. What gives. Heard complaints about the app and connectivity. That is of huge importance to me. I would gladly rather give up a little in sound than having app/connectivity issu...
Gustard R26 Soix, I would not be concerned. Me plugging the PSAudio into the Gustard did not hurt the dac whatsoever even so the connection sounded like a cat's tail stepped on. |
