| How would you upgrade my entry level system? Another + for room treatment.The room and setup will give you AT LEAST 50% of what you will (or won't) hear. No gear change is as effective as meticulous setup and treatment. | |

| Was the Snell Secret a Wide Baffle? I had a pair of Boston Acoustics top model in the 80s. I think it was the A-400 (?). VERY wide baffle. Supposed to be like an infinite baffle. Horrible imaging. Sold them and got a pair of stand-mount Mission 2-ways. Beautiful imaging. Just my 2c.... | |

| Schiit Freya S or Freya +? I have the original Freya which offers three choices: passive, JFET buffer, and tubes with 12 dB gain. My source is the Oppo 103 out to a Schiit Modi Multi DAC. I MUCH prefer the tubes. Highly recommend the Freya. It makes MUSIC.Tom | |

| I am Looking for That Elusive 3 Dimensional Room Filling Soundstage I spent about $1000. Plus the large area rug to cover the wood floor. The room is almost 14' x 14' x 8' with some odd alcoves so it doesn't suffer from the dreaded "square room bass boom". |
