Barn speakers

We have a small farm with a large barn for weekend family get togethers. Trying to figure out how to pipe music around. Much of the time we are out around a fire. Options I am considering are indoor and outdoor speakers hung up high, not sure of a brand. Another consideration is a box speaker like Klipsch that can be moved in and out- kind of a hassle but workable. Listen to everything from Earl Klugh to AC/DC and everything between. Anyone have a similar setup that works well? Thank you in advance

I thought this was going to be a barn find of still-in-box Bose 901's from 1968.
Thanks for all the responses. Some type of powered speaker makes a ton of sense so it can be controlled from wherever the gathering is happening. Might even look at some raspberry pi amps hooked up to an interesting horn speaker. Thanks again.
i heard the marshall tufton, which is a portable bluetooth speaker--no built in bottle opener but sounds really good, with lots of bass and supposedly has 20 hr battery life--you can lug it to where you need it and use it at home when you're not on your farm
Passive PA style speakers and the amps to push them are cheap and plentiful on the used market. Since the price of powered monitors has come down that’s the norm.
Here is an example of four Bose 801’s powered by 200wpc Bose 1800 I was messing around with in the barn.
Any CL search or local music stores will have loads of used cheap quality options.

Hootenanny is exactly what it is. Lots of bunks so friends just stop in and end up staying the night. Wife is a feeder so everyone eats well. UTVs, fishing, crickets and bullfrogs.........and a smattering of ACDC........Pickelball courts inside
Thank you both. My first impression was a couple of horn speakers but hadn’t thought about wheels. The space is a cavern- super tall walls and three thousand square feet.
I second that .. BIG horns.. VOT, Imperials, La Scala.

Pro BUMP for the bass. 21" are on sale at PE, 299.00 PS555-8 21" 96% efficient.. 2 will pressure up a barn.. LOL Use Behringer 12Ks they will pump it up..

Hootenanny comes to mind.. :-)

Regards
When you say barn, I think of a large space. Large spaces are hard to fill, you will definitely want some horn loudspeakers and you’ll want pretty big ones.

Edit: I’m thinking Cornwalls on wheels.

Edit2: Or maybe VOT or a commercial Klipsh product.
