George Bensons LP collection

Anyone ever visit the guys store in Phoenix? I always stop by when I’m in town. Nice selection. I found this on "the other" site.

George sounds like a great guy along with being a master musician.

Thanks for the video links, always been a George Benson fan and it is so good to hear that he is one of the special people in this world. Enjoy the music
Thanks for the video. I have a number of George Benson records. I need to pull them out for a listen.

In Groove is interesting. I have had good and not so good luck with records purchased there
I frequent Mike’s store when browsing. He’s an interesting guy when he wants to be, also crotchety. Still, he does get some nice stuff now and again.

George is known in the general Phx/Scottsdale/PV area. I would say second to Alice Cooper (but without the commercials). I’ve met him though an old photog I was doing PS work for. I was lucky to meet several people though said photog, Alice, George, Mustane, Havens and a couple of others.
I always stop in to The In groove when im in Phoenix during Thanksgiving. He also sells used gear in the back of his shop. Found some great vinyl like Govt. Mule double albums of live Stones and Pink Floyd covers and Prodigy, the album with the crab on the cover. His in store stereo system sounds really good.
Mike did a great job with the George Benson video!

I like his channel, as he's pretty good about sharing comments about the SQ of new releases that he's listened to. Hoping he'll add more of that to his weekly release vids. Cheers,
Spencer
