??? How Good Are Pathos "Inpol" Amplifiers Really ???

Researching end game integrated amplifiers  &  Pathos "Inpol" keeps coming up...
Reviews of several different units, from about $6500.00 to $50,000.00 yields comments like "best amplifier I ever heard" & "absolutely magical"...Kevin Deal describes the music as "materializing from a deep black background in an ethereal mist of sound"...
So my question to those of you having actual experience with any of these amplifiers in real world usage is how good are these amplifiers in reality & in what system context did you experience them?

I've always been curious about these, but never had the chance to see/hear them in the real world. If I was considering one of the mid to higher end models, I would strongly consider a trip out to Upscale for a proper demo.

I bought the Logos from Upscale and I was very impressed with the sound of it! Be it not a Inpol version, I would still take it over anything in it's price range. I had the Anthem STR Stack prior btw

Divorced forced the sale of it and I picked up a used Cambridge Edge A, which is similar price wise new but isn't even close to the Logos.

Excellent I have the dual mono inpole mK-2 pure class A 85 lbs

and plenty of power and grip speakers are 89db Qualio Ultras

My system always materializes from a "deep black background" as it's generally turned off before I listen to it.

I had the Pathos Twin Towers driving some large Silverline floor standers many years ago.  I recall it having impressive sound quality for solid state and the build quality and aesthetic was memorable.

I’ve had Pathos InPol Heritage and now the Heritage MKii with Tannoy Kensingtons.  I’ve never had better sound in a system than now.  Of course, personal tastes differ, and I tend to prefer a warmer sound which my system now gives.  I’ve had BHK 300 monos and D’Agostino Progressive integrated with Focal Kanta 3s and Rockport Atria ii’s respectively.  The Pathos InPoI/Tannoy combination is remarkable IMO.  KD can wax poetical a bit, but in this case, I’m with him.  I would agree with him.  (I purchased mine from Upscale. Went to audition Tannoy’s and walked away with the Heritage. Also plus 1 service and support from Upscale.) If you can, find a Pathos dealer to demo.  Should be on your short list regardless whatever else you are considering.
