It's been getting rave reviews---I've heard a few songs and like it so far. Sounds like they're sticking to their roots. Depeche Mode's last album was also quite good despite Andy Fletcher's passing. Pet Shop Boys latest is also excellent. Feels like my favorite groups know that time is shorter and we have fewer albums to look forward to. Sadly, I wonder what the next 10 years holds for the all the other great bands from that era.
New Cure Release
So, the long-awaited Cure album Songs of a Lost World is out. Robert says it's the last. Been a fan for years. Of course they haven’t put out anything worth listening to in 30 years. This is more or less in the style of Disintegration.
I’m also a fan of good recordings and dynamic range. Here you go. The deluxe 2-CD DR CD1 = 5, CD2 = 5. Total range for both = 4-6. Crap.

I like it. Have heard it a few times now. It is supposed to be the first of a trilogy. Seems they have a ton of recorded material. Depeche Mode’s last is a new favorite. Going to find the Pet Shop Boys
