Question about Schitt Gumby dac

I am using a Schitt Gumby dac with a Cambridge transport in my headphone system and it clicks when on pause, I understand that this happens with some transports and not others. Is anyone using the Bell Canto CD3T with a Schitt dac without this happening? If not this transport please let me know what transport you are using without this issue with the Schitt dacs.

Tascam CD-200 and oppo 980H; no clicking with either of these transports commected to Gungnir multibit.
@gs5556 , thanks for your input, trying to put together list to choose from so I can watch the used market to replace the Cambridge as the clicking is just annoying, have no other issues with it otherwise and the Gumby is really impressive as a very reasonably priced dac. Cheers
I have the Yggdrasil (same muting relay circuit): I use an Aurender N100H and a Theta Data Basic II. Both do not engage the muting relay when paused/resume. I also have a CEC TL-1 and I’m almost sure that didn’t click during pause/play either.

@gdnrbob, the problem is disclosed in the owners manual so they are aware of the issue, my question is to those that are using the dac successfully with another transport without this issue and what that dac might be.
