Verity speakers opinions/experience?

Hey all,

for or some time now I've been intrigued by Verity speakers, but have never had a chance to listen or audition.

Any Verity owners or experienced listeners want to chime in?

Truthfully, I can't think of a single Canadian speaker manufacturer who does not make excellent speakers
Today I have a pair of Verity, model Amadis S, for over two years. Before, I had Parsifal Encore for a few years too.
I have already used NAGRA tube amplification, and today I use it with Devialet (bi-amplified, with the Expert 400 model) with Kubala-Sosna cables.
I love the results: music, as it should be.
Verity makes an extremely high quality and musical speaker.  I've always been surprised at the sound to size ratio of their speakers as mentioned in some threads.  I think part of their magic to big sound is the design and cabinet bracing.  The designers love music, are true artists and miraculously scientists too.  I've owned and loved a few of their speakers.

If you have any specific questions I'd be happy to comment.
@ebm I don't know. My speakers now - AZ Adagios - are wonderful in their own right. But you know how the bug always bites you if you're not careful.
Verity are speakers ive always wanted to love because they provide really hi level sound in a beautiful, compact design.

Unfortunatley they end up boring me a bit too much.  They don’t quite hit my “tone/timbre” button.

But that’s me.  I totally get why lots of people love their sound.
Wonderful musical speaker well made great company. When will you be buying them??
I have dreaming/hunting Verity speakers for years after listening to a pair of Parsifals at someone’s house in SF a few years ago.

During this hunt I came across the Verity Amadis at a store in LA, the best audiophile experience I have had in a showroom, details, dynamics, bass, musicality, you name it.

I finally acquired a Parsifal few years ago, but it turned out be a disappointment in my home. Think it was the amplifier mismatch ( I had tubes), and I sold it in favor of Devore Orangutans O93s which were far better and had more meat.

I currently still own the Devore Orangutans (upgraded to the O96s) but still dream of about buying a Verity Amadis (more tube friendly) once in a while. Hard to find these used.

If you are patient enough, you might find a Parsifal for around 5K-7K. I have seen some this past year.

I heard them many years ago at my local audio store and loved them. After many years of my lust and multiple pairs of speakers, I got a used  pair of Parsifal Encore's that I could afford. Plus they're beautiful.

I'm done searching for speakers

I've owned the Verity Tamino X2 for a few years and think very highly of them. Super musical and very nice tone. I've thought of selling them - we all get this feeling - and then I go listen and change my mind. Not sure I could do better for the price. Currently using them with a Rogers Integrated amp and love the combo. I may sell them down the road but will probably regret it. BTW - I've reached out to Verity with a couple of questions and they are prompt and very courteous with their replies.
I've never heard a negative reaction to them and I love their high performance/low profile business model. I'd be willing to buy a used pair of Finns (all I can afford) sound unheard.
Heard the Parsifals a while back at a show, and they've stuck in my memory as one of my top 5 or so show experiences.  Very musical and natural sounding with excellent soundstaging.  Maybe not for hardcore detail freaks so if that's you maybe better to look elsewhere, but otherwise IMO they're a must audition if you can.

I heard the Ovation with Nagra electronics, the Parsafal with Berning electronics and the Sarastro don't remember the electronics. All at the Montreal show in 2005. The Parsifal/Berning set-up one of the ground floor large rooms was the highlight of the show to me. I spent the majority of the 3 days in that room. It was a dismal, rainey weekend so visiting the sights was limited. One of my biggest regrets was not taking advantage of purchasing those speakers at a significant discount. They are indeed special speakers and priced accordingly. The sound by the end of the weekend was just amazing, real lifelike dynamics. I would attribute much of this to the proto Berning amp and pre. The other Verity rooms were excellent as well but in smaller spaces. Among my most memorable audio experiences .

i have heard them at Seattle HiFi, cant remember the exact model and revision level but they were about $40 k at retail and i believe very competitive- neutral and coherent with great image depth...NOT hifi at all.....
Front end was Jadis pre, Berkley DAC, Ayre SS power amp...

I've never heard them, but the Parsifal Encore's have always been on my Mount Rushmore of speakers I wanted to own.

Verity has a strong reputation and Agon members who's opinions I respect  & trust speak highly of them.
