For fans of John McLaughlin and Mahavishnu Orchestra

That includes yours truly.  So it was fun when I discovered this site.

I saw the Mahavishnu Orchestra live in 1972 but had long forgotten the date.  Still, the concert is embedded in my memory as it was one of the best I've attended.  So when I stumbled onto Walter's site I was pleased to find his diligence created the full concert listing.  So if you are a fan and ever saw them live, post your experience too.

@stuartk, no idea as I have no connections in the recording industry.  You might ask Walter at the initial link I posted.

The Kinetic Playground Chicago and Summerfest Milwaukee.

John and his guitar synth at The Cubby Bear '85 with my firstborn in utero.

Oh yeah Shakti at Ravinia in ’23.,

Loved 'Inner Mounting Flame' and 'Birds of Fire' - some jazz guys at college turned me on to those; that's about as far as I get into 'fusion'. Only saw them once, on the tour where they co-headlined with Jeff Beck back in '75 or so.
