Streamer, no DAC please?

Sorry if this topic has been beaten to a pulp...I recently upgraded the digital side of my rig, Denafrips, Pontus 15 with a Project CD Box RS2T transport...

Now I have the itch to try streaming. It pains me to invest in a high end streamer and once again pay for a DAC.

Is it possible to find a quality steamer without a DAC? Any direction is appreciated, FYI, I consider myself a luddite.

Funny, its always the same. OP gets ask to state budget and does.  And people keep recommending solutions for thousands of dollars more.  We just love to spend other peoples money.

Used Aurender N100H is $800-  $1200, within budget. It’s really good- I have one, finally replacing it with an N200 after 5 years.

I agree with yyzsantabarbara. The Lumin U2 is an excellent choice. especially with its upsampling capabilities. I wish it were in Op's price range.
