More female vocals

I am looking for some good female vocalist. I really like Etta James, Whintey Houston.
So, what other female jazz and blues singers can I look for.
As I am getting older my taste in music is changing.

If not,there can't be a discussion of the greatest jazz singers ever without her name being included. Her "songbooks" are classics and just about anything she'e done is worth hearing. There is alot to pick from.
