Bright room, help
Steve, I think separates are a waste of money. A top notch tweaked CDP should beat a dual box setup. But they are always many ways to attack a problem and achieve the same results.
B&W VS Dynaudio .........
I would first suggest the changing amp as some other people suggest. I think (my opinion - but changes regularly) B&W are more revealing of amplification than they are of themselves.Krell is great with B&W but maybe lacks the interest fact...
Upgrade suggestions needed
Goodwin's High End sells Karma, Martin Logan, Audio Physics, Dunlavy. They are outside of Boston. Good store, they treated me real well.
The return of "Bubble Man"
Why not stack 2) 5/8" bubble wraps to get 1 1/4" thick "double bubble"? Bubbliscious!
Why bi-wiring is bad
That's what I'm initially finding Viggen. With the emphasis on ADEQUATE jumper.
Speakers that are matched well with Krell
Judit, I would try Analysis Plus oval 9 for single wiring. Or Oval 12 on bottom / Oval 14 on top if you bi-wire. This is what I plan on auditioning. There may be better out there but it will cost a lot more.

Why "splay" walls 4 custom listening room design?
Wooterb, have you look into getting CARA release 2.1. This is supposed to be the best computer analysis software available and should give you some answers before start building. It costs about $50.00.
Amp help for Paradigm ref 100 before I go insane
Can't say on the exact amps but in general Rotel is smooth in the highs and has a full sound. B&K did not seem to be up to the sound quality on Rotel in general.I would still be worried about the Rotel being too bright even with the new versio...
Sibilance how do I get rid of it?
So if testing the system at midnight shows no reduction in sibilants from the daytime, then it is not the A/C power. Power conditioning would not be needed. From what is being said here.
Cable vs. Electronics: biggest bang for the buck
Thanks a lot Phychicanimal.
Try this simple DIY interconnect cable.
Could also do 2) grounds and 1) signal as Kimber does on the PBJ's.
What type of solder do you use and why?
Audio Advisor has "World's purest lead-free solder from Japan""The absence of lead lowers electrical resistance by as much as 30% and improves the clarity of sound"100 gram roll $49.95.Is this stuff any good? Better be for the price.
Cable vs. Electronics: biggest bang for the buck
