When I listen to my system.......
@toddalin  Good post!
When I listen to my system.......
There is no right or wrong way to do this. For some it’s the journey and not the destination, so trying new gear can be the most important part of this hobby for some. Others, such as yourself, approach it from a different place.   Some car enth...
Wanna take it to the next level? Buy MORE speakers!
@deep_333  Why don’t you spend a minute or two describing to us “two channel guys” your awesome multi-channel rig. Obviously you have achieved this nirvana you describe.
I listened to a pair of Audio Research Reference 330Ms
That’s a helluva jump from a  Bryston amp to 90k amps. I hope it works out for you and hope you now have speakers that will be commensurate with that level of performance.

IsoAcoustics Gaia feet with carpet disks
I have been using the Gaia II footers on my Qualio IQ speakers for a couple of months now. I noticed the improvement immediately when installing them. I just ordered the carpet spikes from Crutchfield this morning and will have them tomorrow. I ho...

This is the passive linestage that I would highly recommend.   Hattor Audio “The Big”

I think in most situations a two channel amp is going to perform better than a multi channel amp. For one thing, those five channels are most likely sharing the same power supply. And this is a great opportunity to seek out better sounding amps t...
Jays Audio yt Channel takes on AB testing of cables.
+1 @sns
Perhaps useless, but today is National Dog Day........
Well I think dogs are safe (for the time being), but you'd all better keep your cats indoors. Just kidding, or maybe not.......

why do you need the second preamp? why not run the passive directly to your amp? @glennewdick  That's the point I was trying to make above. Unless he absolutely needs the gain, a high quality passive (not the cheap one he bought) will be much ...
Kilpisch + Ojas kO-R1
I don't know anything about their speakers, but damn, what a horrible website. It looks as though it was designed in 1995.
