Dedicated lines — how many? Other advice? Yes it is! As a matter of fact my system is on a 15 amp circuit with a few other things and the breaker has never tripped. 1 amp=120 watts. IMO, having more is pure overkill! Of coarse there will be many here that disagree with me!
Dedicated lines — how many? Other advice? A 15 amp circuit= 1800 wattsA 20 amp circuit= 2400 watts Your gear would never use anything more than that. You can do the math!
Recommendations for speakers that sound great at lower volume levels. I have owned the Harbeth M30.1,C7 and the newer P3ESR. In my 20x15 size listening room using tube amplification the original P3 just sounded better. I always prefer a sealed speaker better than any speaker with ports. BTW, I have tried many differ...
Recommendations for speakers that sound great at lower volume levels. + jjss49Any Ls3/5A design would fit the bill. I’ve owned quite a few and the Harbeth P3 is still my favorite of the lot. I have also owned larger Harbeths and IMO the P3 is the pick of the litter. And I don’t use a subwoofer!
Cartridge recommendations? You can calculate arm and cartridge compatibility putting in the information in this chart. Like I said , the Grado will work fine in a low mass arm!http://www.mh-audio.nl/Calculators/RF.html

Cartridge recommendations? " You budget is a joke for a good cartridge, you need at least $350 for an OK moving magnet." That statement is BS! You won’t go wrong with a Grado Prestige!https://gradolabs.com/cartridges/prestige-series-2

AR9LS Speakers - a good buy at $1k @ shi_fu_audio Both those speakers that I recommended are full range and I doubt that you will need a subwoofer. If you are looking for chest thumping bass you can always add a subwoofer later on!

AR9LS Speakers - a good buy at $1k I doubt you will get that chest thumping bass that you seem to want. You might be better off looking for a subwoofer to give you that kind of bass. This Klipsh might fit your budget of 1K. Your 70 watt Yamaha would be fine with any of these speake...
