Check this out, if you already haven't.

No, this isn’t my listing, nor am I affiliated with the seller.  I thought it was really badazz just to see this personal collection. Enjoy.

@juanmanuelfangioii I respect my partner, but just as I would never tell her not to buy anything expensive if she wishes and can afford it, I expect the same from her.

We have a partnership as well, but neither of us controls the expenses of the other.

I find that a lot of men will bend to their wife's complaints about how systems or components look, but have no say if their wife has 60 pairs of shoes or picks ugly furniture  :-)

@yyman23 I am thinking you are not married or if you are your wife agrees to societal/cultural subservience’s to her man.

My lovely bride of 25 years and I have a partnership and neither of us go out and make major or discretionary purchases of over $1500 without consulting with each other.

Has nothing to do with age it has to do with respect for your partner.

I can't believe how many of you have to comment about the wife, or wife approval factor. Must be an older generation thing.

Maybe the guy is not married, and maybe he doesn't have a bossy wife controlling his every penny and purchase.

I think this post might have to be flagged for porn 🤣 OMG, that’s epic....thx for drawing attention to the collection!

....add the cost of the truck rented or the service hired to shuttle all that....

*Whew* is even an understatement.....

Nine pairs of KLH 9 ESL's! That's some kind of record! Worth $2-3K a pair if working.

We all have our own afflictions...the only part I don't get is the many multiples of the same piece.  Now I feel less conflicted about my own afflictions.

There are wayyyyy more people than you think with collections similar to this one.

And uhm...even some with quite a bit more gear actually.

"Quite" a bit more...

I didn't think he had that much actually...

Uhm... It's an addiction. A disease.

And, I am very sick.

"They say that admitting that you have a problem is the first step to fixing it".

I'm just not having any luck with that one.

Common, he is probably dead and this is his wife ditching the whole lot.

No, he's alive -- go to the linked page, and he has a short intro.  He says he has a collection, but his wife would call it an obsession.  I think I'm gonna have to go with his wife on this one. Amazing!

Common, he is probably dead and this is his wife ditching the whole lot.

What happened to the music?

I'd guess he's just downsizing and is still able to play his music.

What a collection! Heck, could have his own Hi-Fi Expo… Bet his wife was pissed she had to eat Raman for all those years… 😂

REL Precedent is the one to get if anyone wants FM ultima.

The Marantz 10B you can use a the "backup" for stereo.

Put the Mac MR71 in the office setup.

What a great collection. He must have had a lot of fun collecting and listening over the years. One of those stores that sell vintage gear would be smart to make him an offer on the entire collection. There are so many desirable pieces.
