Qobuz and Chandos

It happens with some albums, about one every 30 in my case. Not sure about classical titles, but when an album in my Qobuz library can no longer be found, I usually can find it on Tidal. My best guess is the owner of the rights to the record(s) no longer gives the rights to certain sites to play their music. For that reason it helps to have multiple sites. I subscribe to Qobuz, Tidal and Amazon music and I feel pretty well covered for about 40 bucks a month. The price of one vinyl nowadays.

@baylinor Thanks. Sent an email to Qobuz support. Odd thing is that it happened in one day. Many Chandos recordings disappeared. Some can still be found but a lot gone today that were there last night. 

I think Chandos has stopped doing downloads. I assume this affects Qobuz and other services that have used them as well as other end users of this service. 

Try contacting Chandos. They sold out to somebody so you might have Google around. Hopefully it’s a temporary disruption.

Score another point for Physical Media

. Edit-I just looked it up. Chandos was sold to Naxos in 2024.  Naxos and Qobuz apparently work with each other.  My guess is that the Chandos catalog is being integrated somehow into the Naxos catalog and will ultimately reappear 

I haven't checked labels on it, but you might check out Idagio for a classical streaming service.  Not hi-rez, though, if that is important to you.
