I run wifi to my Auralic streamer, they’re built to use wifi and I’ve never had an issue in months of constant use. Any review of the product talks about the wifi performance matching the wired performance, it would seem there are reasons to use wifi for a streamer sometimes.

@fuzztone your comment was, ‘there is no excuse running wifi into a streamer’, that comment seemed general, hence my general response. No idea what your reply is about given the above. 

I have that issue with the Cambridge MXN10 but not with the other two streamers, the iFi ZS and the Wiim Pro+/Ultra. However, another Audiogoner does not have any issues with his MXN10. Weird, right?

I solved this irritating problem on my Node after trying other solutions.

Changing the DNS on my router to the Google standards of 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

Haven't had any problems since this change..... it works flawlessly.

@duckey  Great advice in general!  Another good DNS server is 1.1.1.1, run by Cloudflare/APNIC

Some ISPs have slow DNS, either through incompetence or slow upgrade cycles.
