Sound quality of new vinyl recordings.
@randym860 - there are a lot of good turntables in your price range; I've got a Technics SL-1200G that's right in there and I've been very happy with it....
Made in USA
If I lean to buying US, it's only because I know that the cost of international shipping is not baked into the price. But I've got no problem buying from anywhere if it's something I would want, like my Holo May DAC.
It was 61 years ago today...
I was around 12 or 13 and watching with my parents and some friends of the family. Most of their reactions are along the lines of 'Maybe Ed will pay 'em enough to get haircuts!'. I liked 'em OK, but didn't really become a big fan until around 1966...
Is R.E.M. underrated by new music nerds?
I'm 71, and I like a lot of REM's music, and there's also a lot that doesn't do much for me. I saw them once live back in the 90's, with Sonic Youth opening, and kinda lost interest in REM while becoming a big fan of Sonic Youth.... I never though...
Headphone break in?
It depends; I've had a lot of headphones and some sound really good, if not their best, right out of the box, and others I've gotten that sounded so bad out of the box that I was ready to send them right back, but after letting them break in for a...

RIP Tom Verlaine
So sorry to hear that. I'd just picked up their 'Live In San Francisco' CD, which is a show I was at - brilliant stuff....
One of my all time Favorites!
Now that looks pretty tasty!!!! I've got 'Argus' and 'Live Dates' and got to see them a few times during that period...
Paint it Black Cello Rendition by Wednesday Addams.....
Apocalyptica's specialty is playing cello renditions of Metallica songs....

Kinda like how people my parents' age felt bad for me because I liked the Beatles and not Perry Como.
New Pink Floyd release

David Crosby R.I.P.
I definitely preferred the songs of 'C' to that of 'S' or especially 'N'.
Perhaps a guilty pleasure....
@pmm - they may not have had hit singles, but Rennaissance, with their great singer Annie Haslam, were pretty well-known among people who liked prog-rock and FM rock radio (back when it was independent)....
