Can anyone identify this equipment?

I'm just wondering what type of gear Robert Plant has in this image.

Anybody?

You nailed it. I looked at other images and that is it. Thanks.

From what I gather it’s nothing too fancy but built with decent quality. Many musicians not being audiophiles, I’m sure it would have filled the bill quite nicely for Robert Plant. Then again, it could be what was available for a staged photo. Who knows?

Robert Plant has a Replacements album?

It would appear so. Or at least, he had one…

For all the sane responses so far, thank you.

The image came from this page:

There’s a Jimmy page video on there too. That inspired me to purchase the CD for Link Wray and the Wraymen. Their first album. It’s been remastered and has a bunch of additional tracks and a 16 page booklet. The album contains a track entitled Rumble. It’s the only acoustic song that’s ever been banned from the radio.

Yeah he looks older here so it's not 1969 or 70s He's showing 45s he grew up on...

Steve Reich/Pat Metheny/Kronos Quartet Different Trains - Electric Counterpoint.

Muddy Waters, Elvis...Great taste. Possibly looking for inspiration.  This had to be 1989 or later.

Probably not an audiophile. I am a musician. Lots of musicians are indifferent to audiophile values.

Well then, that means you're either wearing your low cut dress or your halter top.

Plant’s pose and attire look like those of a teenage girl.

I think this was taken during the short-lived Led Zeppelin bobby soxer phase.

You know, they'd giggle about boys and do each other's hair...

I really doubt that’s even his system.  It’s probably a publicity picture or something for a magazine or ad or something. It would be interesting to know.  It just doesn’t look like the kind of house or style he would live in back then.  At least not from all the old pictures I’ve seen from that era.  Would be in to know where that picture came from.

Cool dude, but, that speaker placement...well, most of the speakers in those days were rough anyways (looks like he gave up, understandably).

Why not just reach out to him on social media and ask him?  He must have some presence online.  He might respond.

I think those are a few 8 track tapes in the background with a spark and static player.oh those were the days.enjoy the music

It looks like this is a picture of him revisiting his childhood home and the room he grew up in. I agree that's a Pioneer shortwave receiver, the rest of the the stuff is generic and hard to identify.

He has Fishbone in his vinyl collection so regardless of what else is going on in this photo, the man has excellent taste in music.

I’m guessing that he doesn’t have much preserved hearing so he probably isn’t too finicky about his gear.  It’s to bad that despite making all that money he doesn’t seem to be able to afford a listening room chair
