what can go under an LP12?
Although I am not very familiar with the LP12, I do agree with Drubin about the Neuance shelf. I replaced the stock MDF platform under my Spacedeck with one and it's a noticeable improvement in all regards.Oz
Upgrade Von Schweikert VR-4 to Dunlavy SC-IV?
>The Gen III HSE were considered the reference before the VR4SR was released.<And to my ears, they may still be the better speaker.Oz
Small Floor Standers
That is a pretty big room to fill with sound for 1K. None of the Totems that you will find at that price will do it. I tried a pair of Forests in a 26X16 room for a weekend and they definitely weren't enough. Neither are the smaller Spendors going...

South Florida Zu Druid owners
Member Gmood1 is in Alabama and now owns my previous FTA 2000 speakers. If he's not close enough for you to make the trip, he can give you his opinion.I thought they were very good, and actually had very good bass for a single driver. As I'm sure ...

McCormack DNA-1 Preamp
The DNA-1 works really well with passives because of it's input sensitivity and gain. I was using a pair of the deluxe monoblocks with a TVC linestage with excellent results.Oz
